* this was the first time in history that one country, two in fact, did not get any points at all and stayed on zero points
* Sweden won over Slovenia due 13x12 points, against Slovenia's 6 time 12 points. This was the first tie brake in history of SCC
* Swedish Magnus Carlsson was in group Barbados, so he is the first person, to win SCC more than once, even though never solo.
* Swedish Anders, the other member of group Alcazar, will be on stage of ESC 2006 for Switzerland in group Six 4 One.
* Slovenian Nuša Derenda was on ESC 2 years before, in 2001, Copenhagen, where she tied best Slovenian rank with her Energy. That was 7th place
* Austrian Petra Frey was on ESC as a teenager 8 years before in 1994, Dublin. With Für die frieden der Welt she was 17th.
* Estonian's Vanilla Ninja are going to represent Switzerland on ESC 2005 in Kyev.
* Portugal's Rita Guerra was their representative on ESC 2003 where she finished 22nd
* Israeli Lior Narkis, also represented Israel on ESC as well this year, but he finished 19th
